Chicago & Suburb Family Photographer: The B Family- Happily Ever After

We had such a lovely and fun late-summer photo shoot with the B family.  Mom wanted a family portrait to hang in her home that didn't look stuffy.  She wanted fun, and natural, and something that captured the essence of her family.

We headed down to a nearby nature center, and told them to be prepared to have fun.....and have fun they did!   We all had a great time running, acting goofy, and letting them forget that us photographers were there.  We even stole the kids to do some surprise shots for mom and dad!  The B family is absolutely charming, and we had so much fun watching their family dynamic, and getting to be a part of it!

First Birthday Smash Cake- Little Miss S.

One year ago, the most precious little angel entered our lives.  Little Miss S has been my joy, my inspiration, my very reason for being.  There is nothing like the birth of a child to rekindle the awe at the world around us, and in the very miracle of life itself.  I have learned more about love, trust, and wonder in this past year, than all my other years on earth combined.  I love seeing the world through her lens, and I love every moment spent with her.  She has been the most wonderful blessing, and I can't wait for many more years together with her.  Little Miss S, thank you for teaching me how to learn, grow, play, trust, wonder, and love.  Happy first birthday!!!! 

In honor of little Miss S's first birthday, we decided to throw her a little party complete with balloons, festive decorations and CAKE! At first, she was a little unsure about what to do with the sweet little cupcake sitting beside her, but once she got the okay from mom, she dug in!

Chicago & Suburb Family Photographer: The F. Family (part II)

Remember the beautiful F family we did a shoot with over the summer?  They loved their photographs so much, that they contacted us to do a special shoot for a birthday surprise!   It was grandma's birthday, so we got the cousins together (5 beautiful girls).  We did some fun shots, had a great time, and came away with a beautiful collage for Grandma.  Our biggest compliment is repeat business, so thank you F family for choosing us to help you with this very special gift!
